One of my favourite photos is that of a Masai town in Africa.

Philipo, our guide, took this photo in the spring of 2004, when we were on holiday in Africa.

We were in Tanzania, and we went on a photografic safari in the Serengueti National Park and we went to visit a Masai town.

In the photo there were many people, because the Masais had a street market of traditional handmade products and tourists were around. I bougth a traditional necklace, that Masais women made the one I am wearing. There were  shacks, they are Masai´s houses. There were small children and they were playing  they were very surprized. My husband and me were wearing  traditional red blankets.

a. Explain to your audience if you thought the book was entertaining or boring, has good characters or unrealistic characters, has thorough information or inadequate information.

b. Use quotes or paraphrases from the book to prove your points.

III.    Conclusion

A.     Review the main points of your argument.

B.    Remind the reader of your thesis (whether or not you thought the book was good).

• 1 cup sugar
• 1.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• half a cup of white sugar
• half a cup of brown sugar
  
• 1 teaspoon ground cloves (clavo)
• one half teaspoon ground ginger

THE STORY ON ONE OF MY FAVOURITE PHOTOS

My name's Rosa María Gomes Taboada, I'm at 2nd. A.

Now I am going to describe my favourite photograph.

"I don't have a favourite photograph because every one has a story behind, but I would like to describe the following photo: (see the attachment)

The photo is the Roman Forum. This is in Rome. We can see the  ruins of an ancient Roman City.

There are many people walking in this little city.

In the middle of the photo, there is a roof with a circular form, that is the Caesar's tomb. Near this site, there is a big intact structure called The Curia. In this place was the Senate of the second century.

In the middle of the singular ancient street, on the left of The Curia, we can see a very important arch called Severo's Seventh  Arch. This symbolizes the emperor’s victory on the Near East.

We can see a beautiful view of Rome City behind The Curia, where there are some trees and other monuments.

On the left of the photo, there is a big white structure, that's Vittorio Emanuele 2^nd’s  Monument. This is a place to honour the killed soldiers. In front of this there are other buildings but I don't know their importance.

Finally, that day the weather was very good because the sky is blue, without any cloud."
